"A well-fitted contact lens should feel like nothing at all. That level of comfort and clarity comes from taking the time to understand each patient's unique eye — not just their prescription."
— Look Optometry TeamEvery lens type.
Every prescription.
We fit the full range of contact lenses — from everyday soft lenses to custom specialty designs for complex prescriptions and irregular corneas.
The most popular contact lens choice — comfortable, easy to wear, and available in daily, biweekly, and monthly replacement schedules. Ideal for most prescriptions and lifestyles.
- Daily disposables — maximum convenience and hygiene
- Biweekly & monthly — cost-effective options
- Silicone hydrogel materials for all-day comfort
- Brands including Acuvue, Bausch & Lomb, CooperVision
Toric lenses are specially designed to correct astigmatism — a condition where the cornea is shaped more like a rugby ball than a sphere. Precise fitting is essential for stable, clear vision.
- Corrects both sphere and cylinder prescription
- Stabilization features prevent lens rotation
- Available in daily, biweekly, and monthly options
- High-prescription torics available for complex cases
Multifocal lenses allow you to see clearly at multiple distances — near, intermediate, and far — without reading glasses. A great solution for patients over 40 experiencing presbyopia.
- Corrects both distance and near vision simultaneously
- Reduces or eliminates the need for reading glasses
- Available in daily and monthly options
- Also used in myopia management for children
RGP lenses are hard lenses that provide exceptionally sharp, stable vision — particularly for patients with high prescriptions, astigmatism, or those who haven't achieved satisfactory vision with soft lenses.
- Superior optical clarity versus soft lenses
- Durable and long-lasting
- Ideal for high prescriptions and irregular corneas
- Custom fitted using Medmont corneal topography
Scleral lenses are large-diameter rigid lenses that vault completely over the cornea and rest on the white of the eye (sclera). They are a game-changer for patients with irregular corneas, keratoconus, or severe dry eye.
- Vault over the cornea — no contact with the corneal surface
- Fluid reservoir provides constant moisture for dry eye patients
- Ideal for keratoconus, corneal transplants, and irregular corneas
- Custom fitted using Medmont topography for precision results
- Transforms vision for patients who failed with other lens types
Ortho-K lenses are worn overnight to gently reshape the cornea, providing clear vision throughout the day without glasses or contact lenses. They are also highly effective at slowing myopia progression in children.
- Wear overnight — see clearly all day without lenses
- No daytime lenses required for most patients
- Clinically proven to slow myopia progression in children
- Custom designed using A-scan and Medmont topography
- Reversible — cornea returns to original shape if discontinued
Medmont corneal topography.
Custom results.
The Medmont corneal topographer creates a detailed 3D map of your corneal surface — measuring thousands of data points to capture the unique shape of your eye with exceptional precision.
This technology is essential for fitting RGP lenses, scleral lenses, and Ortho-K — where even small deviations in corneal shape can significantly affect comfort, fit, and visual outcome.
- Detects keratoconus and irregular astigmatism
- Guides precise scleral & RGP lens design
- Essential for Ortho-K lens fitting and monitoring
- Tracks corneal changes over time
When standard lenses
aren't enough
Many patients who have been told they "can't wear contacts" are actually excellent candidates for specialty lenses. Conditions that make standard soft lenses uncomfortable or impossible to wear can often be successfully managed with RGP, scleral, or Ortho-K lenses.
- Keratoconus
- Irregular corneas & post-surgical corneas
- High or complex prescriptions
- Severe dry eye with contact lens discomfort
- Corneal transplant patients
- Children & teens needing myopia control
- Patients wanting freedom from glasses or daytime lenses
Everything you need
to know about contact lenses
A contact lens fitting at Look Optometry includes a comprehensive eye exam, corneal assessment and topography where needed, trial lens fitting, insertion and removal training, and a follow-up visit to confirm the fit. The fitting fee is separate from the cost of the lenses themselves.
Yes. Toric contact lenses are specifically designed to correct astigmatism and are available in daily, biweekly, and monthly options. Most patients with astigmatism can wear toric soft lenses comfortably. For higher or irregular astigmatism, RGP or scleral lenses may provide better vision.
Scleral lenses are large-diameter rigid lenses that vault over the cornea and rest on the white of the eye. They are custom designed using corneal topography and are particularly effective for patients with keratoconus, irregular corneas, corneal transplants, and severe dry eye. Many patients who have been told they cannot wear contacts find scleral lenses life-changing.
Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lenses are worn overnight to gently reshape the cornea. When removed in the morning, the reshaped cornea provides clear vision throughout the day without any daytime lenses. Ortho-K is also highly effective for slowing myopia progression in children and teens.
Yes — with the right lens choice. Daily disposable lenses reduce deposit buildup that aggravates dry eye. Scleral lenses are an excellent option for severe dry eye, as the fluid reservoir between the lens and cornea provides constant moisture. We also offer dry eye treatment that can improve contact lens comfort significantly.
Yes — existing patients can reorder their contact lenses conveniently through our Otto Optics portal at lookoptometry.ottooptics.io/reorder.
